This is not a fix for everyone and may cause more damage if your not soft enough in the twisting, or the screen is "that damaged already." Honestly replacing a laptop screen is very simple anyways.
Quick and easy test to see if the screen is bent causing the lines.
I recommend using something non-flamable if you attempt to fix it yourself.
