Fallout 4 is coming as soon as we could have hoped; Fallout publisher Bethesda announced at its first E3 conference that Fallout 4 will launch on 10 November 2015.
When Fallout 4 arrives you will be able to do a bundle of things brand new to Fallout, among them building settlements, crafting weapons, giving orders to your dog companion and moulding your own face (and that of your husband or wife) in the bathroom mirror.
It appears you will experience the nuclear apocalypse first-hand in Fallout 4 before you reach the shelter of Vault 111 and then, 200 years later, somehow become the seeming sole survivor of your Vault.
What awaits you in the wasteland? A new and improved Pip-Boy, for starters, that can be operated from the real world via a smartphone app (if you pick up the fancy Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition, you can also pop that smartphone in an actual, physical Pip-Boy).
