Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, who had made everyone guffaw with their wicked sense of humour on the AIB Roast show, took potshots at Aamir Khan while hosting the IIFA event in Malaysia.
Aamir had criticized the AIB Roast video by calling it ‘violent rather than funny’ and in response, Ranveer and Arjun took digs at Aamir by singing, “Hume maaf karna, O Aamir Khan. Hum kabhi nhi lenge Reema Lagoo and Farida Jalal ka naam (referring to the jokes they had cracked about Reema and Farida while on the show).
Not only this, the Dynamic Duo also took potshots at Ranbir Kapoor by quipping that his character should have been named ‘Roti’ in Bombay Velvet as Anushka’s name in the film was Rosie and that they have taken away Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Rosie-Roti’ with this film. If that was not all, the ‘Gunday’ boys further added insult to injury by saying that Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Roy’ should have been named ‘Destroy’.
Ranveer and Arjun, who had shared screen space in ‘Gunday’, are known for their bromantic bonding.
