One of the most respected film awards in Tamil Film Industry, Behindwoods Gold Medals 2014 was launched formally amid fireworks and revelry on 31st May.

Winners in 6 prestigious categories were then announced - Manorama and MSV for the lifetime achievement award, AR Rahman for the Music excellence 2014 award and Vaali for the Legendary Performance 2014 award.

The wall of fame was launched by director Bala. All the deserving technicians,who let their work speak for themselves in 2014, were featured on the wall.

Behindwoods hosted the second Behindwoods Gold Medals award ceremony on the 19th of July at Hotel ITC Grand Chola in Chennai.
