This is a really easy chocolate cake recipe made using real chocolate to give it a lovely rich chocolate taste that is still light and moist.
Only use chocolate that you would eat on it's own in this recipe - you can use milk or dark chocolate for this recipe. Preheat your oven. Add a little milk if the batter seems too stiff. Only use room temperature ingredients. Always use fresh eggs. Do not put chocolate directly in a saucepan to melt - always use double boiler.
NOTE: In this recipe I have used self raising flour - if you are using plain or all purpose flour, add 1 teaspoon baking powder and bicarbonate of soda
