This well known qawwali was sung by the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan for the movie Dhadkan. The song's poetic theme is based around a traditional Indian marriage & all the feeling that come with it. Since it's film rendition by Khan Sahib, this qawwali has been incorporated into the traditional sufi qawwali repertoire in Pakistan wherein the emotional feelings of bride & groom become the spiritual metaphor for the sufi's marriage to Allah.
