Caught by his own camera: Footage of world-renowned doc installing toilet spy device that got him 5 years jail
A disgraced doctor who secretly filmed patients, colleagues and friends on the toilet has been jailed for eight years. Victims as young as three were discovered on a secret stash of 1,100 images and video files hidden in world renowned hearing specialist Lam Hoe Yeoh's home.
The 62 year old Malaysian had admitted seven counts of voyeurism, six counts of making an indecent photograph of a child, and one of possessing extreme pornography. Sentencing him to eight years in prison at Croydon Crown Court in south London of which he will serve five years before being released on licence Recorder Warwick McKinnon described him as "nefarious and despicable".
The disgraced doctor, also known as Robin, was caught only when a tiny camera he fixed to a communal toilet at the privately run St Anthony's Hospital in North Cheam, south London, was seen after it came loose.
