The audition moves to Delhi. First contestant, 17 years old Student, Seema Jha, comes to the stage with her boyish looks & unrefined confidence. She sings "Dilbar dil se pyare" originally sung by Lata Mangeshkar. Her voice is engaging and sweet. It melts into the ambience like honey. The Judges assess her confident performance and appreciate her song selection & presentation. They give her a go ahead for the next level. Neel-e-Khan Group gets on the X Factor stage with an objective to promote Indian Folk Music and perform a Qawalli "Ali Molah". Their performance is magical. The Group assures that with determination they can climb up to higher levels of the competition. Gaurav Dhiman, 20 year old Student, an enormous fan of Sonu Nigam is over-whelmed to see his idol sitting in front of him as a Judge. He performs the song "Tumne mujhe dekha" originally sung by Mohd. Rafi. His singing skills fail to impress the judges. Gaurav is still happy & satisfied as he met Sonu Nigam & also presents him a Portrayal of Late Singer Mohd. Rafi. Manu Bishnoi, a 16 years old Student, seems like a lost & confused kid in the arena as he performs "Tadap tadap ke" originally sung by KK and Dominique. The performance though energy-filled, lacks even the basic requisite of a singer. The judges enjoy the bizarre & appalling performance but don't select him for the next round. Shreya Ghoshal sings 2 lines of her song "Bairi Piya" & dedicates the song to the People of Delhi. The versatile singer Jubin Nautiyal, 21 years of age from Dehradun, performs "Tujhe bhula diya" by Mohit Chauhan and Shekhar Ravijani. The audience loves the performance & shouts for "Once More". Judge Shreya Ghoshal feels that his voice needs a lot of hard work. Sanjay feels something missing in his voice. Sonu on the other hand discusses with the other two judges whether to pass him for the next level or not. The judges go with the audience and give him a chance to excel in the next level. Pretty girl Manju Sharma, 17 years old from Haryana, wants to fulfill her mother's dream of becoming a singer. To the beats of "Dekhle" originally sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, she tries to do full justice to the song. Untouched by the performance, Sanjay finds her singing lazy. She is asked to perform again on her mother's request to the judges but to no avail. Vishal Srivastava, 31 years old, an Auto-rickshaw driver by profession, is participating to fulfill his wife's dream of becoming a School Teacher. He sings "Haal kya hai dilon ka" originally sung by Kishore Kumar. Sanjay acknowledges Vishal for his aims and dreams and appreciates the projection in his voice quality. The judges in particular Sonu Nigam becomes emotional after seeing the moving performance. Vishal gets a confident Heads Up from all the judges for the next level. He & his wife backstage are happy & emotional after his selection.
