Hey guys Bill here - You guys have been pounding me with strange and whacky looking creatures lately. So I thought what I would do is combine a few of my favorites that I have received and go over them with you.
Sent in by Kingburrito - A picture of something I thought would be fake, but turned out to be real. It was a picture of a 'spectacled bear' from South America that has mysteriously lost all it’s hair. Her name is Dolores and she part of a bear exhibit at Lepzig Zoo in Germany.
For unknown reasons, Dorthy and all the other female bears lost their hair at the zoo a few years ago. I don’t know if it has grown back yet, but if you live in germany maybe you can go check for us.
Submitted by Jerryman69 - A very weird creature indeed and it turned out to be real!
It’s called an Aye Aye or Madagascan Dyschirius - It’s the world’s largest nocturnal primate and was fist discovered by Pierre Sonnerat on the shores of Madagascar. It’s considered to be a Leemur and is not dangerous at all.

This is a really interesting creature, but it is a fake. It’s an art piece created by Patricia Piccinini’s called “The Young Family.” It’s meant to be a protest against the practice of Implanting human genes into animals to create new medicines. Some people think this is dangerous and want it to be more regulated, before we end up with something like this - the famous “Vacanti” mouse that appears to growing a human ear.

William - Believe it or not, this is a real creature… It is a real piglet born in China to a farmer named Feng. His wife told reporters that it was one of five newborns of a family sow.
Why it was born with two thin lips, and small nose and two big eyes nobody knows. It’s rear legs are also much longer than its forelegs, causing it to hop rather than walk.
Feng biggest criticism is that he won’t be able to sell it and make some money because people…
Our last entry today comes from Manic Bob, who sent in this suspicious picture of a translucent sea creature.
Mr. Bob, it turns out this is real. A number of reliable news sources report that New Zealander Stewart Fraser found this little number floating on the surface 40 miles out at sea.
Mr. Fraser said it felt scaly and firm, but other than an orange blob on the inside it was completely translucent.
Fraser had no idea what it was but a number of experts said this thing could be a salpa Maggiore fish - well that explains everything doesn’t it.
Ok. well that it is it for this edition of Animals you don’t want to sleep with. If you have any weird animal pictures you come across send them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
See you next time.
