Asaduddin Owaisi was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, his father Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, was an Indian politician and former Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, for six consecutive terms. Asad is an Hyderabad Public School alumni and subsequently did his Intermediate from St. Mary's Junior Collage, Hyderabad. He graduated in "Bachelor of Arts" from Nizam Collage, Osmania University. For higher studies he left for London where he studied L.L.B, and Barrister-at-Law (Lincolns Inn), England.[1] He is often referred as Naqeeb-e-Millat (Leader of the community) by his supporters. He has two younger brothers, Akbaruddin Owaisi and Burhanuddin Owaisi. Akbar is the member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Chandrayangutta Assembly constituency while Burhanuddin is the editor of the local Urdu daily "Etemad".
