Jethalal finally manages to get rid of facing babita and also somehow manages goli so as not to spread this embarassing situation in the society. And finally he gets his old haircut back but during this suddenly police arrives there so as to catch hold of all those road side illegal saloons and in this mess jethalal is being caught without any reason but there too he manages to get rid of. And the whole day was a bad day for jethalal as he had many tragedies in a day and when he returns back he asks Mr. Mehta to manage him to get him out of the cloth tied in his neck without mentioning the real reason but giving various fake reasons. And finally, babita meets Jethalal there and she suspects that she saw some one like him running in market and police following him but jethalal managed to clarify her that it wasnt him and might be some other person. Champaklal and Daya feels good as he looks at Jethalals old haircut back but still Daya suspects him where did he had his haircut although on Monday all the saloons are closed. Getting irritated he shouts on her and just turns off to sleep.
The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant.The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises. Lost hopes of being heard by his son pushes Jethalaal' to call his father 'Champaklal' (Amit Bhatt) from the village. This was his great idea of leashing some control over the mischievous Tapu. The opposite happens and the grandfather joins hands with the grandson to make life a roller coaster troublesome ride for Jethalaal.
