Zayn Malik is officially leaving One Direction – we have official word straight from representitives for the band. So if you guys were like us, you were very skeptical about breaking news this morning that had Zayn exiting the current 1D tour. But we here at Clevver reached out directly to One Direction’s representation at Sony SYCO records who had this to say: Zayn has been signed off with stress and is flying back to the UK to recuperate. The band wishes him well and will continue with their performances in Manila and Jakarta. As you guys know, the root of Zayn’s recent stress is likely due to the photos that recently surfaced showing him and a blonde, tattooed woman in Thailand. Zayn actually hit twitter yesterday to share his understandable frustration and anger over the photos and the accusations they caused saying QUOTE “I’m 22 years old..I love a girl named Perrie Edwards. And there’s a lot of jealous fucks in this world I’m sorry for what it looks like X” So clearly, Zayn is saying that the photos made it look like something was happening that was not actually happening, and I completely can see how the pressure of this situation would cause incredible stress; stress bad enough to pull him off the tour. At the end of the day, Zayn’s health is the top priority. None of the band members have spoken out about Zayn’s exit but we know they have his back, and are looking forward to his speedy recovery. So, what do you guys think about Zayn’s exit from the 1D tour? Hit us up in the comments section and on behalf of all of us here at Clevver – Zayn, we are hoping you feel better very soon! In the meantime, all of you guys out there, click here to get a rundown of things even you Directioners might not know about the band! I’m your girl Joslyn Davis thanks for watching and we’ll see you later!
