LAS VEGAS — Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas is starting to realize that having a waxwork of Nicki Minaj on all fours in homage to last year’s ‘Anaconda’ music video probably wasn’t their brightest idea.

Madame Tussauds and Nicki Minaj were both very excited last month to unveil the wax figure depicting the famous rapper during one of the most important moments of her career. That is, until some visitors started simulating various sex poses with the wax-version of Nicki.

Rapper/singer Azealia Banks commented on the incident by pointing out how demeaning the whole thing was as well as how inappropriate it was choose to put the wax-version of Minaj in that position in the first place.

As a consequence and in order to prevent these kinds of episodes from happening again in the future, Madame Tussauds staff members have stepped up security. They are also thinking of replacing the waxwork with another one of Nicky in a less comprised pose.

Minaj, on the other hand, didn’t seem to take it all too seriously. She posted photos of the horny wax museum visitors to Instagram alongside emojis crying with laughter.
