Bollywood films, which have portrayed Pakistan in their films, have mostly been banned in Pakistan. Films like ‘Agent Vinod’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ and ‘Khiladi 786’ were some of the films that were banned in Pakistan and buzz has it that upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ might also face the same fate.
The film, which stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, revolves around a mute Pakistani girl, who strays across the Indo-Pak border and has to rely on an Indian do-gooder to reunite her with her family despite all odds. The film’s trailer goes all out to show our ‘Bajrangi’ in a positive light, which means that the film might have scenes where Pakistan might be shown in a poor light.
Well, all we can hope is that the film releases without a hitch in Pakistani, so that Salman’s fans in the country can get to watch him on silver screens.
