Materials: Pairs of US#4 (3.5 mm) & US#6 (4 mm) single pointed needles, Sets of US#4 (3.5 mm) & US#6 (4 mm) double pointed needles, cable & yarn needles, 4 stitch markers, 2 stitch holders or waste yarns, 5 small buttons.
Abbreviations & Method: K = Knit; P = Purl; M1L = Make-1-Left; YO = Yarn-Over; K2tog = Knit-two-together; P2tog = Purl-two-together; SSK = Slip-slip-knit; C6F = Cable-6-front (Put 3 stitches on your cable needle and hold in front of your work, knit the next 3 stitches and then knit the two from your cable needle); C6B = Cable-6-back (Put 3 stitches on your cable needle and hold in back of your work, knit the next 3 stitches and then knit the two from your cable needle); Kfb = Knit the front of a stitch, then knit the back of the same stitch; mm = millimeters; yds = yards; sts = stitches.
