Pink tea probably can be made from any tea leaves that have not been allowed to oxidise or ferment after picking, so any brand of good quality green tea can possibly be used for this purpose.
(To make 300 ml of pink tea)
Half a teaspoon green loose leaf tea
300 ml tap water
100 ml tap water (for adding after simmering)
1 tablespoon (10 to 15 ml) whole milk
Sugar or salt to taste
As pointed out in the video, this recipe can easily be adapted for green tea bags. There is no need to split and take tea leaves out of a bag. I have made tea with intact green tea bags several times and have not had any kind of problem. As long as volume of water is adjusted according to the amount of tea leaves used, the recipe works for tea bags too.
