We are going to create an Android app using pure HTML5/CSS3 using the Ionic Framework and Cordova.
This video covers the Installation and set up of Cordova, Ionic, Node.js, Android SDK, and everything else required for this workflow.
We download and install Java, the Android SDK, Node JS, And then modify the path variable to reflect this. We then install Ionic and Cordova using node.js.
The app we create will work fully on Apple iOS as well as Windows phone 8 but we will focus on Android in this tutorial.
This tutorial will work best on Windows 7 and up, but everything discussed later will work on Mac and Linux, But the installation procedure will differ greatly.
