We’re still about nine months away from Avengers Age of Ultron hitting theaters, but a new report hints at what we may be seeing after the credits roll. If the title didn’t tip you off, we may be heading into spoiler territory, so proceed at your own risk. Now, we previously told you that it was looking likely that we could see Hawkeye appear in 2016’s Captain America 3, but he may not be the only Avenger joining the film. According to Badass Digest, the end of Age of Ultron will find Captain America assembling a new team of Avengers that will include both old and new members. Who will be part of the roster isn’t known just yet, but previous drafts of the script included Captain Marvel, aka Ms. Marvel. Ms Marvel has long been a character that fans have wanted to see join the Marvel Cinematic Universe and they may finally get their chance come May 1st, but according to the site, which characters will make up the new team is still up in the air. The actual scene has reportedly not been shot and will most likely shoot closer to the film’s release in order to keep the line-up a secret and also allow changes to be made. As for Ms Marvel, sources are saying that Marvel is having cold feet about introducing her in an end credit scene as a fully developed character. Recent reports have suggested that Marvel is no longer interested in origin stories, but they aren’t sure introducing such a major character in this way is the right move either. Another character we may or may not see at the end of Avengers 2 is Black Panther. The plot of the film will reportedly include big baddie Ultron travelling to Black Panther’s homeland Wakanda in order to obtain vibranium, the indestructible metal that Captain America’s shield is made out of. Though Wakanda will be introduced into the MCU, it’s still unclear if we’ll see Black Panther included in the new roster. One character we most likely won’t see introduced in Avengers 2 is the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange. Collider reports that longtime frontrunner Joaquin Phoenix is in final talks to take over the role of Stephen Strange, but recent comments from Marvel co-president Kevin Feige suggests we may not see him as a member of The Avengers, calling him a “great standalone character”. The character was briefly mentioned in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and a standalone movie is currently in the works. So what do you think of Captain America potentially introducing a new Avengers lineup at the end of Age of Ultron and which characters do you think should be included?
