Eddie Redmayne takes home his first Oscar and delivers the most adorable acceptance speech EVER.

Hey guys, you’re back watching Clevver’s Trophy Life Coverage on tonight’s 87th annual Academy Awards! After sweeping up at the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and the Critics Choice Awards, it wasn’t a surprise that Eddie Redmayne took home tonight’s award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his AMAZING portrayal of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. So first of all can we just watch his reaction. Look at that priceless face as he makes his way to the stage.

And then between totally freaking out during his acceptance speech to the touching shoutout he made to his new wife, WE could barely hold it together. Check it out:

Seriously, I almost started crying during that speech --- I’m not sure how he made it through. And let me tell you guys right now --- if you have not seen this film, trust me when I say Redmayne’s performance as Stephen Hawking was absolutely mesmerizing and he seriously could not have been more deserving of this award.
