Akbar proves to be the embodiment of justice when he declares that Rashid is not a betrayer as he and his wife were the ones who had earlier saved prince Saleem from death. Akbar says that Rashid had only made a mistake and was infact doing a good deed by serving his guest who had appeared before his door in the form of his friend turned decoit, Yaku. Rukaiyya Begum gets angry on Akbar for forgiving Rashi and tries to speak to Akbar about it but he refuses to listen to her. Later Rukaiyya goes to meet Saleem in spite of Raheem stopping her. Akbar later gets furious with Rukaiyya as she had been visiting Saleem in spite of his warnings against doing so. He finally announces a punishment whereby Rukaiyya Begum is not allowed to leave the kingdom until Saleem's punishment comes to an end and Akbar adds that if Rukaiyya was to be caught going out to meet Saleem, then all of the guards would be punished.
