Tapu sena is busy shooting for the ad wherein on the other side Gogi is feeling aloof for the first time from his tapu sena. Looking at this Sodi manages to make his son happy by taking him out for a movie and enjoy with him. Finally, the shooting of the ad is done and all the ladies with their kids return back wherein all the mens are waiting for their kids to return back and could know their experiences. Gogi also manages to reach home before tapu sena so that he could welcome them. Now as they all come back from shooting everyone is excited to know as to when would the ad be telecasted. Rita informs them that she will confirm it with the director and will get back with the good news for tapu senas ad. Next day, Rita reporter comes to Gokuldham society and informs all that the ad is going to be telecasted the next day at night between the match. Daya calls up jethalal and informs him first about this news. Everybody is excited to watch tapu sena on TV and so all starts spreading this news to their relatives and friends. Also, natukaka at the shop creates a scheme for 25% off on first 25 customers who would watch the ad. Knowing this jethalal gets shocked and he explains natukaka that it would create a loss for our business but natukaka however manages jethalal and makes him feel proud about his son.
The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant.The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises. Lost hopes of being heard by his son pushes Jethalaal' to call his father 'Champaklal' (Amit Bhatt) from the village. This was his great idea of leashing some control over the mischievous Tapu. The opposite happens and the grandfather joins hands with the grandson to make life a roller coaster troublesome ride for Jethalaal.
