These drawings should help make sense of the branches of the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava. These vessels supply blood to/from the organs of the abdominal cavity and their branches can be confusing if not seen in the proper context. This video is intended to help medical and other anatomy students keep track of how blood flows to the gastrointestinal organs and where important clinical landmarks are found.
