In this video you will see a very simple voltage inverting circuit in operation, and also learn how to make one. This circuit can take as little as 1.25V and boost that voltage all the way up to 120VAC(pulsed DC) or higher. Output voltage depends on your input voltage, transformer design(# of turns in the windings), and frequency(determined by capacitor value & input voltage). By taking the HV output and feeding it into a voltage multiplier circuit, very high DC voltages can be achieved.
