Lahore Resolution and Pakistan Day: 23rd March has been celebrated in Pakistan to commemorate the historic 'Lahore Resolution' latter known as Pakistan Resolution, which was passed in the annual session of All India Muslim League at Lahore, in 1940. The day was marked under the great leadership of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, followed by every forthcoming day with new zeal and zest. It was the year of sigh for the Muslims of Sub-Continent and the people of world at large, as Second World War came to an end. Under the dynamic leadership of the Quaid, Muslims united under one flag and fastened the pace of their struggles for independent home land. It took only 7 years that the ever voiced will of having separate home land for the Muslims came into practical, and Pakistan emerged on the map of the world.
