Jethalal and Daya are on the way to Babitas home where Iyer welcomes them and exclaims that babita is off to sleep and so knowing that jethalal gets upset but Daya says to give babitas gift also to iyer rather then waking her from sleep and sad jethalal suddenly becomes happy seeing babita is front of her. Finally, he gives her the gift of make-up kit and for iyer he brings an empty box because iyer had said him not to bring anything for him just as a formality but jethalal takes him seriously and brings nothing for him. Then Daya and Jethalal moves to Mr&Mrs.Haathis place so as to give them their gifts brought from London and for Mr.Haathi jethalal brought a very different gift which was a mirror in which Mr.Haathi could see himself slim and for Mrs.Haathi jethalal brought glares and a video game for Goli. Then they move towards Mr&Mrs. Sodis place and gifts Mrs.Sodi a perfume and gogi a video game and for Mr.sodi he gifts him two bottles of wine which doubles his happiness. And thereafter, they meet up Mr&Mrs.Bhide where jethalal gifts an automatic machine to Madhavi and a doll to Sonu and for Bhide he has specially brought a very different gift which is just a dream come true for Bhide. Jethalal brought artificial hair veek for bhide which gave him a look a like like Kishore Kumar and looking at this the most happiest was Madhavi as she was wanting to look bhide in such style and with this her dreams is just fulfilled. Thereafter, they just return home and plan to play garba together as after a longtime they got this opportunity.
The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant.The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises. Lost hopes of being heard by his son pushes Jethalaal' to call his father 'Champaklal' (Amit Bhatt) from the village. This was his great idea of leashing some control over the mischievous Tapu. The opposite happens and the grandfather joins hands with the grandson to make life a roller coaster troublesome ride for Jethalaal.
