Pakistani Canadian Cultural Association celebrated the Allama Muhammad Iqbal's Day on November 24th 2013 at Fleetwood Community Hall 15996 84 Avenue Surrey, BC.
Tanvir Chaudhry and Sarah Tahir hosted the program and although Sarah Tahir hosted a program first time, Sarah impressed every one by her performance.
The program started at 6:30
PM. Muhammad Attiqur Rahman beautifully recited the verses of Holy Quran.
Abdul Rasool Salis presented Kalam e Iqbal and Naat Sharif in his melodious voice, which was greatly appreciated by the audience and touched every ones sole.
Our director Ijaz Chatha performed Duaa for the Shoudha-e-Karbala. PCCA presented a package on Allama Iqbal's life and work and Sarah Tahir skilfully presented this package to the audience.
PCCA women wing prepared and presented beautiful kids performances on kalam e Iqbal, these little kids surprised every one by their excellent performance and community members and our guests enjoyed this very well designed show.
PCCA feel proud of this fact that little kids always performed in our programs, keeping this tradition alive three little boys Ali Waraich, Umar Waraich, and Ahmad Ghumman delivered their speeches and Umar also recited Kalam e Iqbal.
PCCA directors Sadia Sameeullah, Rizwan Shawl, and Ijaz Chatha also spoke very well about the life and great work of Allama Iqbal. The following community members paid tribute to Allama Iqbal Mr. Mansoor Khan, Intikhab Ahmed, Naeem Lukhun, and Tarik Kiani. President PCCA Naveed Waraich and our Chief Gust honorable Counsel General of Pakistan Vancouver Mr. Shuja Alam briefly paid their tribute to Allama Iqbal. PCCA director of Public relations thanked everyone attended the program and dinner was served.
I greatly appreciate the efforts of the team PCCA because without their hard work it was not possible for us to deliver such a great program and I also thank our community members because without their participation it impossible to deliver these programs.
