SYLHET, BANGLADESH — Brutal footage of the torture and murder of vegetable vendor Samiul Alam Rajon, 13, on July 8th in Sylhet, Bangladesh was posted online to Facebook and YouTube after being recorded by the killers.

The 28-minute-long video has stirred outrage and disgust in the online community and the town of Sylhet, where hundred of demonstrators took to the streets calling for justice and punishment for Rajon's cold-blooded killers.

Rajon was beaten and tied up while the killers taunted him. They reportedly accused Rajon of trying to steal a rickshaw van at Sundar Ali Market in Kumargaon. One of the men involved in the murder, Muhith Alam was caught red handed while trying to transport Rajon's body in the back of a minibus.

Local citizens brought Alam to the police who are keeping him in custody while they search for the three others who have been accused in connection with the murder, and are featured in the video. Authorities identified the other men as Alam's brother Kamrul Islam, 24, Ali Haider, 34 and Moyna Mia, 45. Demonstrators have demanded a 24 hour ultimatum for the police to catch the men involved in the horrendous crime.
