Hardgainers make the mistake of trying to lift heavy weights that they aren't strong enough to actually lift. All this does is take the stress and tension off the muscles that should be doing the work. When you do this, you can't build muscle fast or adequately and you start to think you are fighting against bad genetics. If you start focusing on actually lifting the weight instead of having the weight lift you, you'll be amazed at just how fast you can start building muscle size even if you are a skinny guy right now.

Lastly, thin guys will feel guilty about leaving the gym early...even if they have completed all there is to do in their workout. Let me tell you, if you train hard you won't be able to train for long. Don't feel guilty about leaving if your work is done. Lift hard. Lift as heavy as you can with good form and then leave and allow your muscles to recover so you can grow and build bigger muscles.
