The last quarter final of the Men's Hero Hockey Champions Trophy in Bhubaneswar was a lively encounter with India defeating Belgium 4-2 to set up a semi final meeting with Pakistan.

Felix Denayer broke the deadlock on 12 minutes with a well executed penalty corner before Sebastien Dockier made it two for Belgium when his deft touch was enough to divert past Sreejesh Parrattu.

India quickly reduced the deficit when Rupinder Singh scored from a penalty corner and they were level shortly before half time as Uthappa Sannuvanda deflected in from a long range pass.

India took the lead for the first time in the match on 41 minutes through Akashdeep Singh before Dharamvir Singh put some distance between the sides slotting in to the goal after India broke quickly from a Belgium penalty corner.
