We finally have good news for fans of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The trailer of his upcoming film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, has been unveiled.
The trailer features Salman Khan, who plays Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi, a devotee of Lord Hanuman, who falls for Delhi-based Muslim girl Razia (Kareena Kapoor Khan). Even as the soft-spoken Pavan struggles with the difficulties involved in dating a Muslim girl, he finds himself enmeshed in another situation- a mute Pakistani girl has strayed over the Indo-Pak border and has landed in India and it is now upto ‘Bajrangi’ himself to reunite the girl, who he names Munni, with her family. Harshaali Malhotra, who plays Munni, is quite adorable and is sure to win many hearts with her innocent smile.
The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays a Pakistani journalist covering the issue. Though the trailer does not focus much on his character, he evokes a few chuckles with his lines.
The trailer promises ‘dhamakedaar’ entertainment and while Salman played larger-than-life characters in his previous films, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ will explore his emotional side. If that was not all, it is also a treat to watch Sallu miya reciting the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’.
Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ is slated to release this Eid.
