Oh uncomfortable comedy. Justin Bieber’s Comedy Central Roast aired last night and while there was lots of funny, some of the moments left us shifting in our seats. We’re bringing you the highlights!
So seeing the roast wasn’t a complete surprise due to all the spoilers that came out when it was originally filmed a couple of weeks ago, but man oh man, there were many moments that no spoiler could have properly prepped us for.
The show started with roast master Kevin Hart onstage with a full blown choir giving Justin some redemption and spiritual healing when suddenly Justin appeared suspended in the air with angel wings to symbolize the new him.
Well then he came crashing down to the stage, which was funny because it was a whole “fallen angel” metaphor, but holy crap the audience and probably a lot of you watching at home legit thought Justin accidentally just fell to his death.
Then the roasting began and although it was Justin’s roast, there was a pretty even amount of joke distribution about the roasters themselves as there were about Justin including Shaq poking fun at the Lakers while referring to the other roasters saying QUOTE – “I haven’t seen a more disappointing line-up since the last Lakers game.”
And from then on the domino effect of uncomfortable laughter was a never ending train. Like when Jeff Ross took it upon himself to point out that Selena Gomez QUOTE – “banged Justin Bieber” for example and then justified it with this...
