10. Tejas Mk II

Tejas Mk II is advanced version of LCA to be powered with General Electric F414-GE-INS6 engine, expected to be ready by 2018

Tejas Mk II is being developed to meet the latest Indian Air Force requirements and will incorporate fifth-generation jet fighter

MoD had sanctioned US$542.44 million for ADA to develop the IAF's Tejas Mk 2 variant and the Indian Navy's LCA Mk 2 (Navy) variant

9. DRDO Rustom 2

The Rustom-II is a medium altitude long endurance (MALE) UAV with an altitude ceiling of 32,000 feet and an endurance of up to 35 hours

Brahmos II is a Hypersonic cruise missile bieng developed by Defence research Organisation and development DRDO

Brahmos II travels with Mach 6 using scramjet engine create immense destruction when hit to target and expected to be ready till 2017

7. INS Vikrant

INS Vikrant is the first carrier of Vikrant class of aircraft carriers built by Cochin Shipyard Limited

INS Vikrant will carry 30 aircraft including MiG 29 and HAL Tejas MK2 and choppers like Kamov Ka-31 and Westland Sea King helicopters .Vikrant expected to commissioned by 2016

UAC/HAL Il-214 is Multi-role Transport Aircraft (MTA) is being designed for Indian AIir Force and Russsian Air Force

MTA at once can carry 82 paratroopers at the time of warfare and other natural calamities

MTA programe cost $600 million and will cost US$ 30 - 40 million ( per unit ) , UAC/HAL Il-214 expect to conduct its first flight in 2017

5. Agni VI

The Agni-VI is said to be the latest and most advanced version among the Agni series of missiles with strike range of 8,000 km to 10,000 km

Most modern and accurate Micro Navigation System ensures that the missile reaches target point within few metres of accuracy designated

The Agni-VI is capable of carrying 10 nuclear warheads and capable of hitting multiple targets simultaneously , expected to be ready by 2017


FGFA Programme is derivative project from the PAK T 50. In 2010 Programme was confirmed under HAL of India and Sukhoi of Russia

FGFA will be fight generation stealth Aircraft with super manoeuvrability and Active Electronically Scanned Array Radar

FGFA total programme cost may grow to $30 billion and expected to be ready by 2018

3. LCH TD4

HAL LCH TD4 is fourth prototype of Light Combat Helicopter designed to fly to a height of 7 km, provide air defence amidst mountains

LCH TD4 will be more weaponised and will have advance avionics system than other versions and expected to get ready for trial by 2016

2. Arjun Mark 2

Arjun Mark 2 is an advanced upgraded version of Arjun main battle tank with improved communication systems and new navigation system

Arjun top speed would be at 60 km/hr and has advanced hydropneumatic suspension system which provides very good comfort to the crew


AMCA stands for Advance Medium Combat Aircraft a fifth generation fighter to be developed by HAL in collabaration with ADA , DRDO and Indian Air Force

AMCA will have Advance Stealth Technology, AESA radar ,Advanced Avionics and much more

AMCA project will total cost between 4000 - 5000 crore INR and prototype is expected to be ready by 2018
