Rukaiyya Begum explains to Jodha that Akbar does not find her beautiful anymore and tells her that she does not want Jalal to marry Atifa. Although Rukaiyya was always been jealous of Jodha she now does not want Akbar to leave her and marry Atifa. Rukaiya weeps with sorrow in front of Jodha while Jodha tries to console her. Later that night the 'Eid ka Chaand' shines brightly in the sky and lights up entire Agra. All hug each other and wish 'Eid Mubarak' and share their happiness and also discuss about the sin that Akbar is about to commit the next day. Later, Mahamanga goes to the place where she has kept Chand Begum hidden but she ges shocked whn she does not find her prisoner there. Meanwhile, Akbar sees to it that all the arrangements for the 'nikaah' are taking place as per his wishes and asks Jodha to not be part of the 'nikaah'.
