The highly anticipated trailer for the sexy sequel in the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has officially been unchained, and it’s giving the shade ‘DARKER’ a whole new meaning.
And by the looks of it we’re about to see a lot more action come Valentine’s Day, and I’m not just talking about the sex….

While the first installment of the Fifty Shades series left us all on a massive cliff hanger, it was clearly inevitable that Christian Grey would be keeping his distance from Ana for more than, say, 12 minutes. And by the looks of it, the two are back in the steamy-as-ever and borderline nightmare horror story trailer, so let’s talk stalkers, shall we?

The moment we hear Ana give her three requests to Christian in the trailer, saying QUOTE, “No rules, no punishments and no more secrets,” we knew whole lotta crap was about to hit the fan. We see the sequel taking place at Christian’s parents’ masquerade party, where the two rekindle their questionable romance, however, it isn’t just Ana that tries to interfere with… whatever it is you want to call these two...
Mrs. Robinson, AKA Elena, the blonde cougar who introduced Christian to the world of BDSM, played by Kim Bassinger, makes her first appearance during the party, and it don’t seem to go down too smooth with Ana.

Then we see a short clip of Ana being cornered by her inappropriate boss Jack Hyde, which we can only imagine Christian’s reaction to even the thought of someone else laying a hand on her. But it only gets worse… Then comes Leila, Christian’s ex-submissive, who ends up inside Ana’s apartment, making not one, but TWO cameos that will most definitely be haunting us in our dreams tonight.
And if you want to add Christian to the mix of stalkers, you’re about to scream in excitement (if you’re team Christian, that is) when he suddenly appears at Ana’s friend’s art show, in hopes to try out this whole non-violent relationship thing…

Ok, so enough with the intensity, let’s move on to more… well, intensity. For anyone curious enough to read the books, you may recall the many hot steamy sex scenes like the one you just witnessed of Ana and Christian in the shower. Newsflash, round two is just as steamy, possssibly even more.
Christian is clearly a changed man after granting Ana’s wishes of wanting a relationship with hearts and flowers… to which we see a glimpse of the boathouse decked out in flowers… so the burning question remains: Will the two get past their differences, stalkers, helicopter crashes and crazy intense love story to end up engaged?!
Well you’ll just have to wait until Valentine’s Day 2017 to find out, but in the meantime, you can hit that refresh button on the trailer like I’ve been doing all morning… And if you need something else to look forward to, Fifty Shades series author E.L. James teased a new version of Fifty Shades Darker, this time in Christian’s point of view. She posted the teaser to Facebook on Saturday, what would’ve been Ana’s birthday, of the two-page scripture. Although her first book titled Grey, in Christian’s perspective, flopped, to put it nicely, we’re only hoping for lots of success come round two.
