A brutally cut up dead body is found in a well. With the help of a tattoo on the body, CID identifies the body, a woman named Alisha reported missing by her boyfriend Rai. Forensic analysis reveals that a sharp blow to her head lead to her death and a human hair strand found on the body could be a lead to the killer. Meanwhile in Alishas flat CID find no evidence of a break in but signs of an attack, a broken perfume bottle and strong evidence of a perfume spill. Friends and family are suspect as the killer knew Alisha. As DNA samples are matched, Rai turns out to be a positive match. But CID finds out that it is not Rai, so then who can it be? Was there someone else who had access to the flat? A servant Mohan had keys to the flat and had been missing since the day of murder. As CID reaches his house, they find Mohan dead; a suicide note written by him confesses the crime. A bag of 35 lakhs with perfume spilt on it links the crime to the scent found in Alishas flat. But 80 lakhs was the amount stolen, so where is the rest of the money and who wrote the suicide note when the servant was later found to be illiterate? Was the servants death suicide or murder? Who is the mastermind behind the murder and who is trying to hide the trail? The scent of the perfume which fell on the stolen money will show CID the way.
