Pakistan Innings in Pakistan vs Sri Lanka 1st T20 Match - 11 Dec 2013
DUBAI: Pakistan won the 1st T-20 against Sri Lanka by 3 wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Chasing 146 for victory, Pakistan got to the target after some anxious moments with 3 wickets and 5 balls to spare. Shahid Afridi played a match winning but more surprisingly a sensible knock of 39 off just 20 balls 2 fours and 3 towering sixes. Shahid Afridi also became the first player to score 1000 runs and get 50 wickets in T-20 internationals.
Sharjeel Khan also played a handy innings scoring 34 and skipper M.Hafeez got 32. Malinga was the pick of the Sri Lankan bowlers picking up 3 wickets for 26 runs.
