News is spread that Akbar has forgiven both Shivani and Tejwant and accepted their love for each other. Jodha and her mother are happy but her father still refuses to forgive the two of them. Thodarmal also gets the news of himself being appointed with a special position in Akbar's kingdom. Adam Khan and Shareef-Ud-Din are against hindus being given power. While Akbar is discussing about Thodarmal and later about Jodha with Salima Begum, Jodha Begum narrates various episodes she shared with Akbar to her grandmother. Mahamanga gets emotional seeing Javeda Begum promising to offer her services to her forever. Meanwhile, Thodarmal complains to Akbar that the public is not happy with the way they are being treated and wants him to have a way to communicate to the citizens of his kingdom.
