Young helmer-scripter Mara Eibl Eibesfeldt tells a modern day Mrs. Robinson story with an interesting twist.
During a practical training in Berlin David stays with Martha, a friend of his mother. One evening he coincidentally observes, how she watches dating agency video profiles of men. She pretends she is just doing it for fun. It becomes a playful game, where they imitate the men and joke about them. After another night with a date who just wanted sex Martha opens up to David. He realizes how desperate she is and secretly invents a new lover for her who is sending her piano sonatas and love letters. When Martha falls in love with the invented piano player David gets jealous. He tries to destroy the phantom. But Martha turns the whole thing around.
