One of the most memorable tracks of this horror flick from the Ramsay productions, and sung beautifully by Asha Bhosle. While Sanjay is in the custody of the evil Samri who is trying to mesmerize him through potions and fair maidens, Suman is pining for him, remembering all the moments of love spent together.
'Purana Mandir' is a horror film chronicling the story of devil worshipper Samri (Anirudh Agarwal). As time passes by, the great-great-grandson Thakur Ranvir Singh (Pradeep Kumar) of the erstwhile King, now resides in the city of Bijapur. Samri is long gone, but not forgotten. His evil legend is passed from father to son in the clan, and his sinister curse occurs with each generation. Thakur Ranvir Singh's daughter Suman (Aarti Gupta) is a college student and spends most of her time with her boyfriend Sanjay (Mohnish Behl). When the Thakur learns about their relationship, he disapproves because Sanjay is not of royal birth. Though the real reason is that any man who marries Suman must endure her inevitable death when their child arrives. How Suman and Sanjay overcome a series of tumultuous events, the opposition of her father and the effect of Samri's curse, form the rest of the story.
