Tanuj, a big businessman with no visible enemies get shot at his own house by an unidentified assassin. Even though Tanujs family and the nanny of his son were around him during the time when he was shot , everybody claims that they have no idea where the bullet came from. CID gets on the case. Tanujs wife Dia tells the cops about a strange mysterious woman who had been following Tanuj just days before his murder. Dia describes the woman but doesnt know her identity. Cops retrieve a gun from the crime scene and wonder how the killer could have been careless enough to leave the murder weapon behind? Later, cops find out that the gun with which Tanuj was shot had a theft report on it from a certain Mr.Abhimanyu. Cops visit his home only to find out that Abhimanyu is missing and his wife Bhaavna is the woman who had been following Tanuj and was told to murder him with this gun. But she did not shoot him , she got scared , dropped the gun and ran away. Somebody else shot Tanuj. Cops investigation reveals that Tanuj and Abhimanyu were friends and alongwith another friend of theirs Roshan , they had trapped a man called Shobhit in a murder which actually they had committed. Years later, Shobhits ex-fiancée found out the truth and sought revenge by killing all of them. She was the nanny of Tanujs son.
