Daya gives Jethalal a list of food items which he had to carry for her mom,s uncle, Sunder gets two bunches of ladies dress & asks him to carry it along & sell it in London...Jetha is irritated with Sunder...Just then Jetha receives a call from Mr. Roy who informs him that he was flying day after tomorrow...Jetha informs everyone at home. Madhavi, Komal, Roshan come to Jetha house. Roshan asks Jetha that they had heard that he was going to London all alone...Jetha tries to answers but Daya interrupts in between & tells them that Tapu's school leave wasn't sanction & hence they were not going...Jetha is impressed with Daya...Madhavi gives some samples of her home made pickles & requests Jetha to take it with him & get some order if possible & also asks him to do some publicity...Komal demands a party from Jetha since he was going...Daya happily agrees & announces the party the very next day since Jetha was leaving day after tomorrow...Everyone enjoys the party. At the party everyone is trying to give some piece of instructions to Jetha...After everyone leaves Jetha comes to Tapu's room & asks him to be good & take care of the house & look after dadaji & his mom. He tells Champak that he wasn't getting sleep as he was going to be away for 15 days...Champak says that he was proud of him Jetha's eyes are moist, he is emotional...

The show is inspired from the famous humorous column 'Duniya Ne Undha Chasma' written by the eminent Gujarati writer Mr. Tarak Mehta. This story evolves around happenings in "Gokuldham Co-operative Society" and covers topical issues which are socially relevant.The show predominantly revolves around 'Jethalaal' (Dilip Joshi) who is an uneducated Gujarati businessman. Your 'Taarak Mehta' (Sailesh Lodha), is his neighbour. 'Jethalaal' finds a friend and philosopher in 'Taarak Mehta' and often goes to him for advice whenever he is in trouble. Jethalaal's family includes his simpleton wife 'Daya Ben' (Disha Wakani) and a mischievous son 'Tapu' (Bhavya Gandhi). Tapu is a menace and a constant source of trouble to all the members of Gokuldham. They have often warned 'Jethalaal' to reform 'Tapu' or else be prepared to leave the premises. Lost hopes of being heard by his son pushes Jethalaal' to call his father 'Champaklal' (Amit Bhatt) from the village. This was his great idea of leashing some control over the mischievous Tapu. The opposite happens and the grandfather joins hands with the grandson to make life a roller coaster troublesome ride for Jethalaal.
