Captain Meraj Mohammad Khan was a excellent officer in Pakistan Army.Right from his school days to
the Pakistan Military Academy, Captain Meraj Mohammad Khan stood at the top among his contemporaries
to make his family proud and he did it again by offering supreme sacrifice of his life in the line
of duty in Mardan district on June 4.Meraj as a student in the Cadet College, Razmak topped his
institution in the matriculation examination and later stood first in the Board of Intermediate &
Secondary Education, Bannu in FSc. At the Pakistan Military Academy, he won the prestigious Sword of
Honour to become the first Razmian to receive the honour.He was on attachment with the Frontier
Corps for the past three months while carrying operations in Darra Adamkhel and Bara. When the army
launched action in Buner, Meraj was sent there as part of the special operations group.Meraj was the
junior most among the eight officers of the Pakistan Army selected for three-week training at the
Special Operations School in United States. A week before his departure for the US on June 12, he
departed the world.He fought bravely against Taliban insurgents in Pakistan and gave ultimate
sacrifice for his country and made his country proud of Pakistan Army.
