Get ripped abs fast:
It's Mike Chang with sixpackshortcuts, and today we are going to talk about how to create a pull up bar at home! And I am going to also show you how you can do pull ups even if you can't do one now. Tricks like this can help you do exercises that will help you on your way to getting the body of your dreams.
When you choose a bar, make sure it is as stiff and as strong as possible, because you don't want it to break.
When I was younger I didn't have any money or equipment, but I wanted to work out so I got creative.
With this pull up bar we are making sure it doesn't slide off the chairs we are using so it doesn't slide around, and keeping the towels secure with a bit of scotch tape.
I am getting two chairs (make sure yours are more sturdy than mine!) and putting weight on both sides, so the chairs don't move or fall on me.
When you use this bar you want to make sure it is hitting the middle of your chest, so you are contracting your whole back. And you want to keep your repetitions controlled.
There are a few grip variations you can do in order to hit different parts of your back.
Make sure your bar is really steady before you do a move. Please stay controlled during your reps, you don't want to hurt yourself!
If you can't do pull ups at all and you have a bar, try to find something to step on and spot yourself. And as you get stronger and stronger, you will need the chair less and less.
I hope this video helps you out!
