Qalandari Dhamal (Punjabi/Seraiki)
Baba Bulleh Shah was a Sayyid (decendant of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.) but his Shaykh (Shah Inayat - شاه عنایت قادري) was of the local Punjabi agricultural Arain caste and once the thought came into Baba Bulleh Shah's mind "I am an honorable Sayyid whereas my Shaykh is only an Arain". Shah Inayat noticed this change of mindset and from that time on the Shaykh became upset with him and refused to speak to Bulleh Shah for 12 (?) years. No apology Bulleh Shah made was accepted. Eventually, one day, Bulleh Shah put on some odd red and green cloths and ankle-bells (ghungroo), usually worn by Tawaif's and Hijras, and danced in front of Shaykh Inayats dwelling for days, who upon seeing this funny show of utter humbleness finally forgave him..
