I am pregnant! Why should we have sex during pregnancy?
Sex during pregnancy is great!! Because you have a bowling ball in your belly doesn't stop you and your spouse from making love when you get pregnant. Here are 3 things you must keep in mind when it comes to sex and being pregnant.
Understand- Today is Not The Day
When your wife is having a bad day when she is pregnant, don't make her feel like she still has to please you. Give her some space and take care of her during these moments. She will appreciate the tender, love and care you had for her at that time. When she feels better, she will definitely tend to your needs. You can cook, clean, and take care of any other house necessities during these days. You can also massage her, kiss her and tell her how much you love her during these moments.
Pregnant- Make Her Feel Special
When your wife is pregnant, she is very emotional. She needs additional attention and support than before. If you, as the husband, wasn't vocal about your feelings toward your wife, this is the best time to learn. Express your feelings to her with words, quality time and rewarding gifts. Pamper her with a pregnancy spa day. Buy her some lingerie that embraces her new belly bump. Tell her how beautiful she looks. Buy her some makeup to encourage her to stay beautiful even though she is bigger than before.
Wives, you have to let your husband know how you are feeling during your pregnancy. Your husband can't read your minds. If you want him to be more affectionate to you, you have to let him know. Communication is key when your emotions are going hay wire. Be mindful of how you speak to your husband though. Speak softly, gentle and sincere to him. Being nice to your husband will make him want to do more things for you especially when you want food late at night!
Keep Him Happy
Wives, even though you are not at 100% during your 9 to 10 months of pregnancy, don't neglect your husband. His sexual and romantic needs are still in tact. When your body is cooperating with you, engage in some great foreplay and lovemaking with your husband. Take some of your time to take care of him. Try great pregnancy positions like spooning, doggy style, or any position that take the stress off of your belly! If it hurts to have intercourse, oral sex and foreplay works wonders. Keep the "WE" time going as much as you can to keep you and your husband satisfied. You may end up having more sex during your pregnancy than you thought.
