First, thank you for watching my video-If you'd like to make a Donation, please follow this link: www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
. This video tutorial will show you how to delete a file or folder that is on your computer. I had this problem myself, where I had a folder and file on my Windows 7 desktop, and I couldn't delete it. This tutorial will show you how to solve this problem and allow you to delete that file and folder from your computer.
IF ACCESS DENIED
Right click on CMD and Run as Administrator
IF DELETING A *FILE* INSTEAD OF A *FOLDER* USE "ERASE" INSTEAD OF "RMDIR"
ANOTHER METHOD TO TRY:
kradfreezer23: hey thanks man! but instead of rmdir /q /s (FILE) I did - del (FILE) (thanks to Benjamin Lafreniere)
IF YOU CANT FIND THE FOLDER SHORTNAME
Note from comments: "BlackFlameBoss: Nevermind found it! You can also just do rmdir /q /s folder name :)"

"LISTEN! If you have a folder on your desktop that have folders in side but you cant delete them read this
1. Go onto your desktop and and right click on folder.
2. Then click properties.
3. On the general at the bottom there is an option that says Hidden, ONLY MAKE SURE THAT IS TICKED, NOT THE OTHER OPTION
4. Click apply.
Thank me later"
If you cannot delete a file from your XP machine, this tutorial should work for you as well. Leave a comment and let me know if you were able to successfully delete the file.
