Ingredients: small piece of jaiphal/nutmeg, small piece/ ½ inch javithri/mace, 3-4 cloves, 1 pinch ajwain/ carom seeds, ½ ts whole black pepper, 1 small sz black cardamom and ½ inch cinnamon. 1 ½ ts coriander powder, cumin seeds, chilli powder, salt each and 5-6 tamarind seeds/imli. 2 L sz tomatoes, make a cut on tomatoes, cook them in microwave for 2-3 mins, peel the skin, cut. 3/4th cup greek style yogurt and 2 md sz chickens
Method: add yogurt, all the spices and tamarind in chicken. mix well, add tomatoes and cook on medium heat until the gravy thickens and chicken gets cooked. Add water if required to cook the chickens. Then dish out the chickens to a baking tray, spread the remaining gravy, 1/2 cup oil and sesame seeds over it. Bake at 180 C for 30-40mins. Reduce the temp to 150/160 C if required.
