In this episode the bear summons all the animals to tell a story about a bee. A young, industrious bee is always the first to return to the hive with the very best nectar, but then one day she spills her bucket so that the hive guard orders her to go back and fill it again. Weary and disgruntled, the bee returns to the field of flowers where she meets a hornet that advises her to leave the hive and live on her own so that she can do as she likes without having to work for the other bees. When the bee is punished again, she decides to follows the hornet’s advice and go live on her own, but, in the end, when the hornet and his accomplice, the fly, steal all the nectar she’s collected for the winter, she realizes she can’t do without her companions. Her fellow bees come to the rescue and save their friend from the two thieves. At last the young, naïve bee learns never to underestimate the work of others and that collaboration is essential in order to work harmoniously.
