This song is a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan by Farhan Saeed.

Halka Halka Suroor means Mild Intoxication. And Suroor in general is Joy, Delight, Exhilaration. This song defines the eternal love of two intertwined souls, how a suitor is lost in the thoughts and remembrance of his beloved. There is a exhilaration in the eyes of the beloved, which acts as a mild intoxicant to the suitor for which he loses the sensation of being himself and is lost in her. The sun, the morning and everything seems so pleasant thereafter.

This song was the first single as an acoustic version of Farhan Saeed after quitting Jal. This is the first video release of the song.
